I love lululemon, but let's be honest- everything is pretty darn over priced. I can't help but to include some of my favorite lululemon gear because I am obsessed with it nonetheless, but here are a few more reasonably priced pieces that do the trick.
I have been dying for a nice camera because I really want to start doing outfit posts, but I think it makes a huge difference when you use a DSLR instead of a point and shoot (learned all about them in my photojournalism class this semester!) Big investment, but I think it is worth it. Do you have any recommendations on which cameras are best?!
I took 3 fashion classes this semester (can't complain!) and I was surprised that in all of them, we watched this short film. After reviewing it for one of my finals, I thought that all you fashion bloggers and street-style-obsessors would really enjoy it.
Definitely working hard! Been in the library as much as possible the past week or so... and I may or may not have been consuming multiple energy drinks a day... oh well. I'll be back as soon as finals are over!
I've loved the look of a maxi dress and skirt for the spring and summer for a while but I only own one- so it's time to invest in a few more. I like that you can throw on a tee to walk around town, or put on a nicer shirt, wedges and some jewelry and wear it out to dinner. And, if you get the right one, they can be so comfortable. You can also find maxis that can be worn as a dress and a skirt (see the white one below)- talk about a great two-for-one price!
Today is one of those stay-in-bed-all-day kind of days. It is pouring and thundering here in Dallas, and I am thankful I don't have class. The dreary weather inspired me to share some of my favorite rainy day accessories!
My all-time favorite shoe for the spring and summer is the wedge sandal. Although I have a few pairs in my closet, I'm always open to adding some more! The main reason I love them is because they are so versatile- I wear them with skinny jeans, flared jeans, dresses and skirts. Always a great go-to shoe. Here are a few of my favorites. As you can see, I really like Kate Spade's this season.
I'll admit it- I have days when I spend hours looking at different blogs. And once I've gone through my routine of the many I have "bookmarked," I begin a search for new blogs to religiously scroll through (again, and again... and again). I recently came across this photo on a newly found blog that I loved, and I wanted to share it with you! I really like the look of distressed, cuffed jeans with this style of heel.
Kate Spade recently released her "Saturday" collection... and in the perfect time for spring. Known for her bright and bold colors, this is something her new line certainly does not lack. Whether it's the clothes, accessories or even home decor, I like to think of their colors and patterns as "mood-boosters." Here are a few of my favorites :)
No, I am not talking about the Fab 5 from "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy"... Am I the only one that remembers that show? Anyways- I'm talking about these Balenciaga rings that were spotted during Fashion Week 2013... they're so funky but in such a chic and hip way. Think you could pull them off? Despite their hefty price of $765, companies like ASOS and sites like Etsy help you work around that.
