Kate Spade recently released her "Saturday" collection... and in the perfect time for spring. Known for her bright and bold colors, this is something her new line certainly does not lack. No, I am not talking about the Fab 5 from "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy"... Am I the only one that remembers that show? Anyways- I'm talking about these Balenciaga rings that were spotted during Fashion Week 2013... they're so funky but in such a chic and hip way. Think you could pull them off? Despite their hefty price of $765, companies like ASOS and sites like Etsy help you work around that.

Needing It Now

I am currently in love with jean jackets. I don't think I have owned one since middle school, but they are definitely making a comeback. My favorite look for a jean jacket is when it is paired with white jeans, wedges, hoop earrings and a simple necklace. And unlike most jackets, you can definitely find these for under $100.

New (Beauty) Finds

When I put on my foundation the other morning, I realized that it was nowhere near the color of my skin now that I am actually tan. So it was time for a mini road trip. Before I got to Nordstrom, my plan was to buy my current foundation (Chanel perfection lumiere) in an appropriate shade. But as I walked in, the Trish McEvoy counter caught my eye because I have been told that her husband is a dermatologist- and my skin needs all the help it can get. I ended up taking a risk, and purchasing her tinted moisturizer. It feels so clean and natural!

Oh, and I also finally bought the Clarisonic "Mia" that I have been wanting for a while after hearing my friends rave about it. I love trying new products, so I am really excited about these purchases!

New Shoes

Unfortunately, spring break has come and gone (quickly, I might add). Even though my mom and I just lounged around for most of the week, I had such a wonderful time with her and I feel rejuvenated and ready to crank out the rest of the semester (I can't believe I am about to be a senior in college!).

Although we didn't end up going shopping, I still scored a new pair of shoes- that I stole from my mom. These Michael Kors pumps are perfect for the spring (and summer). I love the straps, and the dark tan works so well with white jeans and a colorful top. And, in my opinion, they are reasonably priced at $175.

Spring break if finally here and I am so excited to start packing for it! And, of course, to actually be on break. I'm heading to Palm Beach Tuesday morning. I broke down a few examples of what I would wear for three occasions: a day at the beach, out and about in town, and a night out.

I have never seen a Mara Hoffman bathing suit in a pattern I don't like. She's always a go-to when it comes to bikinis (and, if I could pull off a one-piece, she'd be a go-to for that too!). I love having bright nails on the beach, right now I have pink on my nails and turquoise on my toes. One thing you'll never see me without though is my sunscreen- I'm a huge believer in the importance of protecting your skin.

White jeans are a staple in my spring and summer wardrobe. I love to pair them with a solid color top and some fun jewelry, or keep it simple with a patterned top. This bag definitely falls under the "needing it now" category, considering that I have been wanting one of these for years... maybe one day!

I love the look of black against tan skin, and especially the combination of a black maxi with gold accents. I tend to go for a classic look, so sometimes I don't include so much color. But aren't these Tory Burch flats fun? This is the perfect example of where I would add some color to an outfit like this.
